Learn the art of quilting with Betty. This
is a sampler block quilt. In this class you will learn some of the basic
language used in creating a quilt. You will also learn the make-up of
fabric and the understanding of the difference in the quality of fabric.
How to use a rotary cutter, ruler, the quilters seam allowance, how to
get those points, triangles and logs, to match up perfectly and much,
much more. The cost for this class is $85.00 + the cost of supplies. Two
of the latest samples are below. NO CLASS MAY29TH.

Okay this is it!!! All those kits for
the Christmas wall hanging that were purchased last year, we have worked
out class time to get it together!!!! I am scheduling 4 classes with the
possibility of a 5th depending
on the progress made by the fourth class. Class cost is $60.00 for the 4
classes; bring your kit, sewing machine, and other quilting supplies.
Lola will have the sample here for the class. Can’t wait to see all
these completed!

Disappearing 9 Patch

Jeannie Smith is going to teach you this
easy but striking way to make this beautiful quilt. I have a sample in
the shop and see below for another sample. I’ve had one person sign up
so far and I haven’t even sent the newsletter. It really is a fun fast
quilt to make. This would be a great Christmas gift or made of Christmas
fabric. I have the info sheets ready to go! So come on in and get signed
up!! The cost for this class is $30.00.

Free Demo Day
July 31th
This is something New we are trying
out. For our first demo day we will be showing how to make the potato
steamer, the wonder wallet, the cell phone carrier and much more. I will
be sending out the schedule for demo day when it gets a little closer.
The way it works is, every half hour there will be a new demonstration.
You must be there on time to get into the demo. If you are late you must
wait for the following demo to begin.
You will receive free handouts for some demos and others there will
be patterns available for purchase at a reduced cost for those who
attend the demo. All items demoed would make great gifts for Birthdays,
or Christmas. And remember it’s
